Cleo Burke is a registered psychologist, with a masters degree in educational and developmental psychology. She has experience working with families, children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and rare genetic conditions, with her dissertation focusing on parents’ experiences of raising twins with developmental disabilities, including varying levels of ASD.

Cleo assesses with a holistic, systemic and strengths based approach, focusing on the child’s presenting symptomology and taking into consideration the context of external and biographical factors, such as generational and acute trauma, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, family history, schooling environment, parenting styles, generational physical and mental health, differential diagnosis and adaptive functioning.
