Danielle Copplin is an AHPRA registered Educational and Developmental Psychologist. With significant experience working with Disability Services, Edmund Rice Education Australia and Brisbane Catholic Education, she has professional strengths in psychology, positive behaviour support and learning differences.
Danielle is a Speld QLD endorsed assessor and her assessment approach focuses on nurturing potential and capacity. Danielle assesses using the Regio Emilia philosophy that children are born with amazing potential and capacities: curiosity, a drive to understand, the ability to wait, to wonder and to be amazed, the capacity to express themselves in many ways. Through this approach, people understand their current skills, learn how to create new skills and flourish.
Danielle is currently committed to the assessment services available at Scope Clinical and Educational Services and is no longer available for new clients seeking counselling and mental health support. Kathryn and Cleo provide these services.
Danielle completes comprehensive assessment to evaluate and diagnose:
- Specific Learning Disorders such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia
- Intellectual Impairment
- Executive function difficulties
- Verbal and nonverbal cognitive difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Nonverbal Learning Disorder
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder/Conduct Disorder
